PRACTICAL SCOPE

What this service can cover.

We measure approved floor-finish scope from floor plans, finish plans, room schedules and specifications. Quantities are separated by material, room or zone, with net measurements kept distinct from any agreed procurement allowance.

Carpet & carpet tile

Room- or zone-based carpet quantities with roll, tile, pattern or direction assumptions identified when relevant.

LVT & vinyl flooring

LVT, VCT, sheet vinyl and other specified resilient flooring measured by finish designation.

Ceramic & porcelain tile

Tile fields, patterns or finish zones measured separately where the documents support the distinction.

Transitions & floor finishes

Transition strips, base, trims and other specified accessories scheduled in agreed units.

DELIVERABLES

Organized for contractor review.

  • Room-by-room material quantity schedules
  • Finish tags and drawing references
  • Net SF, LF and EA quantities in separate columns
  • Waste or procurement allowances stated independently
  • Assumptions for substrate, demolition, adhesives and accessories
